Job Title: Vertical Market Manager, Retail

Job Description:
The position reports to the National Sales Manager of LGE B2B Division, and works closely with other team leaders and members in the company to deploy winning solutions that leverage current products or untapped services. The objective of this position is to support B2B solution business growth, innovation and operational efficiency. Also it executes product, program, marketing and services strategy to drive business growth and profitability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Biz Development for the Retail Vertical.

  • Achieve sales quotas and business plan for Retail Vertical.

  • Analyze in depth applications and trends relevant to LG Business Solutions business.

  • Clarify and assess current and future potential, by country and by sub segment within the vertical market.

  • Support the strategic planning process, to address the needs of a vertical market with solutions and products from LG and relevant business partners.

  • Give guidance to the country organizations, through local Business Solutions Sales Managers and Key Account Managers.

  • Follow up on consolidated project pipeline for the vertical market and drive required initiatives, in conjunction with country Business Solutions Sales Managers and Key Account Managers.

  • Assist in feasibility studies by identifying information needs, gathering and analyze information, producing draft reports.

  • Work with Marketing, Sales, and Product Management to develop GTM strategies within target markets.

Desired Qualifications:

Education and/or Relevant Experience:

  • Marketing or Engineering degree prefer or equivalent professional qualification.

  • Strong retailer merchandising sales experience – preferably sales to infrastructure and facilities contacts.

  • Have a rolodex full of senior marketing contacts within national retail chains.

  • Experience selling marketing/creative services or point of purchase elements to retailers.

  • Must have Direct Selling experience into key vertical markets such as financial services, government, retail, hospitality, quick serve restaurants, and/or entertainment.

Knowledge + Skills:

  • Must have Direct Selling in a SSAS Selling Model (Software, Solutions, and Services) .

  • 5+ years business development experience which have handled hospitality TV, monitor, digital signage, security system or other new solutions in order to make reference site in landmark space..

  • Technical Knowledge and experience of B2B related industry, especially company experience in IBM/Xerox/Cisco/Siemens etc.

  • Communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse functions, people from different backgrounds.

  • Problem solving skills.

  • English/local language is necessary to communicate with HQ.
